Kerry Maguire

President

With a career that spans both fashion design and accounting, Kerry Maguire brings a unique set of skills and expertise to her current role as President of Gravitas National Title and her work in the accounting department of Gravitas Management Companies.

Before her current roles, Kerry spent over a decade in bookkeeping, including managing her own successful bookkeeping business for 12 years.
At the start of her career, Kerry focused on fashion design. She co-founded, K-Sa-Ra, a couture fashion line that sold to specialty boutiques across the United States. The business flourished into a private label manufacturing giant named C’est La Vie that designed for multiple catalogs including Pea in a Pod, Coldwater Creek and Neiman Marcus.

Kerry earned a B.A. in Fashion Design from The University of Texas at Austin.

When she’s not busy bringing innovation to the business world, Kerry enjoys a variety of hobbies including golf, tennis, and water skiing. She is a loving and dedicated wife and mom of 4, and leads with a familial approach, which you will most definitely experience when working with her at GNT.

Kara Gunter

Kara is our Executive Vice President and comes to us with a wide range of expertise.  She began her working career in commercial construction, which served her well as a negotiator representing the Department of Defense and NATO. Her background also consists of having a paralegal degree and working in residential construction for a custom homebuilding company. 

With almost 30 years in the Title industry, she specializes in commercial closings, as well as residential.  No matter the type of transaction, Kara is dedicated to delivering seamless transactions.

When Kara isn’t working hard on closings, she is fulfilling her passion of serving others. She is a therapy dog trainer, servicing hospitals, nursing homes, hospice facilities, and Wounded Warriors. She has also served at the Reynolds House Woman’s Shelter, Operation Home Front, Armed Services YMCA, and the Tiffany Marie Foundation.

Kara is a mother to five grown children (three of which are triplets) and the grandmother to eight.  She is diligent, selfless, and incredibly hard working. She is here to help with your title needs!

Caroline Talbot

ESCROW Officer
RESIDENTIAL CLOSER

Caroline is one of our Residential Escrow Officers at Gravitas National Title. She has worked in the industry for over 10 years now. Caroline graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Finance.

When she is not working at GNT, she enjoys playing family tennis. She has three grown children and loves spending time with them. She also enjoys working out and, although she claims to be on the “boring” side, she’s always up for a good happy hour!

Kim Barr​

Escrow Officer

Kim Barr is an experienced Escrow Officer with more than 30 years in residential and commercial real estate transactions. She is known for her attention to detail, strong client relationships, and ability to guide even the most complex closings smoothly from contract to funding. Kim is committed to delivering seamless, professional service every step of the way.

In her free time, Kim enjoys watching her husband perform with his band and relaxing with a good book.

Macy Spurgin​

ESCROW ASSISTANT

Macy is a Residential Escrow Assistant here at Gravitas National Title. She has worked in the Title industry for 3 years now.

She graduated from Texas Tech University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies, with a minor in Public Relations. She was also born and raised in Dallas, Texas.

Outside of GNT she loves to tell jokes, go on walks, and cook. She and her mom are in the early stages of writing a cookbook!

Caroline McElroy

Legal Counsel

For the first eight years of her career, Caroline worked as corporate counsel, initially in Houston and then in Dallas. After that, she took a few years off to raise her two children. 

Caroline re-launched her career by working first in-house with a commercial real estate developer who bought and sold shopping centers and then by serving as in house counsel for a local, privately held company who assisted universities with their on-line academic programs.

Ms. McElroy received her Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and her Doctors of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech School of Law.

While in law school, Ms. McElroy served as an Associate Editor for the Texas Tech Law Review.

Leslie Hoy

Director of Business Development

Leslie Hoy joined Gravitas National Title in March 2025 as Director of Business Development, bringing a relationship-focused approach and a deep network of connections throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth real estate community. 

A lifelong Dallas resident, she is dedicated to building strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and delivering exceptional service to clients and partners. She works closely with the Gravitas team to strengthen the company’s brand through marketing initiatives, client engagement, and industry events while cultivating new business opportunities across the real estate market.

A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Leslie began her career in Washington, D.C. Before joining Gravitas, she established herself as a leader in nonprofit organizations, specializing in fundraising, donor relations, and event management. Most recently, she led signature fundraising initiatives for Scottish Rite for Children, where her ability to build meaningful relationships and achieve results made a lasting impact.

Outside of her professional life, Leslie treasures being a wife and mother of three. She is passionate about pickleball, entertaining family and friends, hunting for the perfect gift, and embracing spontaneous adventures.

Heather Flynt

Commercial Escrow Officer

Heather Flynt is a seasoned Escrow Officer with more than 35 years of experience in the title and escrow industry, including 25 years as an Escrow Officer. 

Throughout her career, she has successfully managed a wide range of residential and commercial real estate transactions, earning a reputation for accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional client service. Heather is committed to guiding buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders through every stage of the closing process, ensuring a smooth and seamless transaction experience. Her extensive industry knowledge and dedication to excellence have made her a trusted partner for clients and colleagues alike.

When she’s not helping clients navigate successful closings, Heather can often be found trying out a new restaurant, enjoying live music, or spending time paddling outdoors. Her passion for connecting with people and embracing new experiences carries over into the personalized service she provides every client.

Jordan Toledo

Business Development Manager

Jordan Toledo joined Gravitas National Title in 2026 as a Business Development Manager, bringing more than 13 years of experience across the real estate industry. His background includes residential lending, corporate commercial real estate consulting, and valuation services, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the market and the professionals who drive it.

A Dallas native, Jordan is a graduate of Jesuit Dallas and earned his degree from the TCU Neeley School of Business in 2013. He is passionate about building lasting relationships and connecting real estate professionals with trusted title solutions. Leveraging both his extensive professional network and deep roots in the North Texas real estate community, Jordan focuses on creating opportunities to support clients and the continued growth of Gravitas Title.

Outside of work, Jordan is a devoted “Girl Dad” who enjoys spending time with his growing family and sneaking in the occasional round of golf!
